​You need a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from a recognized university to apply. You must be eligible to enroll as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.

​You must have a minimum of two years of practical experience at the Bar.

​You must have studied Punjabi as a subject in your Class 10 exam. This is mandatory for all Punjab government jobs.

​You must be a resident of Punjab to claim reservation benefits. Keep your Punjab domicile certificate ready — you will need it at document verification.
