Educational Qualification
SSC Selection Post Phase 14 has three levels of posts with different minimum qualifications:
- Matriculation Level (10th Pass): Posts like Laboratory Attendant, LDC, Field Assistant, Nursing Orderly, Medical Attendant, etc.
- Higher Secondary Level (10+2 Pass): Posts like Pharmacist-cum-Clerk, Junior Engineer, Store Keeper, Nursing Officer, Copy Holder, etc.
- Graduation & Above Level: Posts like Assistant (Legal), Research Assistant, Surveyor, Librarian, Pharmacist (Allopathic), etc.

Note on Correction Window: If you need to correct your form after submission, a correction fee of ₹200 applies for the first correction and ₹500 for the second. This fee applies to all categories without exception.
Selection Process
SSC Selection Post Phase 14 2026 selection will be done through the following stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): Objective type MCQ exam with 4 sections — General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language. Each section has 25 questions carrying 50 marks (total 100 questions / 200 marks). Duration: 60 minutes (80 minutes for scribe-eligible candidates). Negative marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
- Document Scrutiny (Online Upload): Candidates who qualify CBE must upload all relevant certificates on the SSC portal.
- Document Verification (DV): Conducted by the respective User Department/Ministry.
- Skill Test (where applicable): Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Test, wherever prescribed as an Essential Qualification — qualifying in nature.
Separate CBE papers will be conducted for Matriculation, Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation & above level posts.
