Revision 1 — New Selection Tie-Breaking Rules
The commission has completely deleted the old “Lesser Wrong Attempts” rule from Clause 10(iii)(a) of the original advertisement. If two or more candidates score identical marks in the written examination, the final merit ranking will now be decided strictly using the following step-by-step order:
- Professional Qualification Marks: Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in their Diploma (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing degree will get a higher rank.
- Age Seniority: If qualification marks are also tied, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
- Higher Secondary (+2) Marks: If the birth dates are identical as well, the candidate with higher marks in Class 12 (any stream) will get priority.
