​Educational Qualification

​You need a Class 12 pass certificate to apply. Any stream from the Gujarat board or any equivalent recognized board is acceptable. A 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or a 2-year ITI course after Class 10 also counts as equivalent.

​You must have a valid Conductor License issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTO) along with a valid Conductor Badge.

​You need basic computer knowledge. If you studied computer as a subject in Class 10, Class 12, or during your degree, you qualify. Otherwise, you must hold a basic computer certificate from a recognized training institute.

​Selection Process for GSRTC Conductor 2026

​Stage 1 — Written Exam

An OMR-based written test of 100 marks containing 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam lasts 1 hour. Each wrong answer carries a 0.25 negative marking. Marking option (E) avoids negative marks.

​Stage 2 — Document Verification

The board invites candidates equal to 1.5 times the vacancy count based on written test merit. You must present all original licenses, badges, and educational certificates here.

​Stage 3 — Provisional Selection List

The board compiles the final selection list using your total written exam scores.
