Selection Process
- Academic Merit Listing: Candidates are shortlisted solely based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (Class 10th) with a minimum 50% aggregate.
- Tie-Breaking Rule: When two or more candidates obtain identical marks, older candidates are ranked higher. If dates of birth match, earlier passing of matriculation decides merit.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted applicants report to RRC Bhubaneswar for original certificate verification.
- Medical Fitness Verification: Candidates must present a Medical Fitness Certificate in Annexure ‘F’ issued by a Government-authorized Gazetted Doctor not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.
