Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (Calculated as on interview date)

• General / UR / EWS: Maximum 37 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Maximum 40 years
• SC / ST: Maximum 42 years
• PwBD (General): Maximum 47 years
  Note: Reservation category candidates applying explicitly against Unreserved (UR) seats will not be given upper age relaxations.

2. Educational Qualification

• Must possess an MBBS Degree from an MCI/NMC recognized medical institute.
• Must present a valid Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate.
• Foreign medical graduates must produce an FMGE Certificate cleared via NBE.
• Registration: Must hold a valid registration certificate with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council before joining duties.

Selection Procedure

1. Document Verification: Initial verification of application forms and original documents on the morning of the walk-in.
2. Walk-In Interview: Candidates are evaluated via a personal presentation panel.
3. Written Test Contingency: If a massive pool of applicants arrives, the institute reserves the right to conduct an initial screening written exam before routing candidates to the interview.

How to Attend the Walk-In Interview

Step 1 — Visit the official site at www.aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in and print the application form format (Annexure A & Annexure B).
Step 2 — Fill out the application form legibly and add your bank NEFT transaction receipt tracking data.
Step 3 — Collect your original certificates along with one set of self-attested copies and three passport-sized photos.
Step 4 — Report physically at the Medical College Building, Administrative Block, AIIMS Campus, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur, UP – 273008 between 08:00 AM and 09:00 AM on June 8, 2026.

Job Terms & Perks

• Salary Package: Placed in Pay Matrix Level-10 with a starting base of ₹56,100/- plus a Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) and standard allowances.
• Tenure: Purely on an ad-hoc timeline lasting for 6 months.
• Restrictions: This is a whole-time operational posting. Private practices or dual employment models are strictly illegal during this period.
• Exclusions: Being an ad-hoc timeline, candidates are not entitled to regular terminal setups like Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, Pension, or institutional promotions.
