Eligibility – Educational Qualification
For most trades:
- Passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks
- Possess National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) in the notified trade issued by NCVT, or Provisional Certificate from NCVT/SCVT
For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology) & (Radiology):
- Passed 12th Class under 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology, minimum 50% aggregate marks in both 10th and 12th
Note: The 50% aggregate requirement in Matriculation is relaxed for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Mode of Selection
- Merit list prepared unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise
- Merit based on: % marks in Matriculation (min. 50% aggregate) + ITI marks in the applied trade (average of both)
- For Lab Technician posts: Matriculation % + 12th Science % (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
- Shortlisted candidates called for Document Verification (DV) — up to 1.5 times the notified vacancies
- Final selection subject to medical fitness certificate
